At Clarte Photography we are industry pioneers in ensuring top quality coverage and focus on the Groom. The Wedding Photography industry sacrifices the standard of Groom coverage in its focus on the Bride and her day, however are correcting this imbalance one wedding at a time!
We recognise that the Groom’s coverage is important to:
We structure your Wedding photography coverage to capture your complete day, without any shortcuts. We do not sacrifice, nor charge you extra for coverage of the Groom prior to the ceremony.
This can be achieved through two methods, subject to your preference:
The Concurrent Method:
Under this method, your Photography team will attend the groom’s house first and then attend the Bride’s house
Advantages: The full resources and capabilities of your Clarte Photography team are leveraged to photograph both the Groom and Bride coverage, yielding uncompromising coverage breadth and quality.
Disadvantages: The groom will need to get ready earlier, around when the Bride is getting her makeup and hair prepared. This means the groom will be relaxing at home for a bit longer whilst we travel to, and photograph the Bride getting ready. However, the groom may also choose to utilize the spare time in getting to the ceremony earlier to get ready for arriving guests (at which point your secondary photographer can also meet the groom at the ceremony venue).
The Simultaneous Method:
Advantages: Allows the Groom to prepare closer to the ceremony time. Also allows one photographer to follow the Groom to the Church earlier to capture guests arriving.
Disadvantages: One photographer attends each location, requiring us to pose the Bride and Groom to a larger degree in order to capture the needed photographs in the shorter space of time. By allowing us to activate our efficiency measures, photo quality is not compromised.
Our recommendation
We recommend you utilize the concurrent method. As Clarte Photography offer unlimited hour coverage and use two photographer teams, we believe the advantages of the concurrent method outweigh the advantages of the simultaneous method.
